Ride Day DETAILS

PARKING & ARRIVAL

Start/Finish is located south of Crown Center and the Boulevardia festival grounds - between 27th Terr and 29th St, and between McGee Trafficway and Gillham Rd.

Parking

Parking is available at the Ride 2 Boulevardia Start/Finish location. If the lot is full when you arrive, volunteers will be nearby to direct you to overflow parking. If you're planning to join us at the festival after the ride, the Ride 2 Boulevardia parking lot will remain open until midnight on Saturday. You may also park in any of the Crown Center or designated festival parking areas. If you will be utilizing those areas, please be courteous and safe with your bikes - this includes not riding your bike inside a parking garage, and ensuring your car-mounted bike rack doesn't pose a safety concern or impede traffic.

Arrival

The start times for the three routes will be staggered. Plan to arrive one hour ahead of the scheduled start to allow plenty of time to park, check-in, pump up your tires, fill up your water bottles, and take pre-ride photos.

The Hangover - Arrive by 8:00am; rollout at 9:00am

The Six-Pack - Arrive by 8:45am; rollout at 9:45am

The Pint - Arrive by 9:30am; rollout at 10:30am

safety & support

  • All cyclists MUST wear a helmet.

  • All cyclists should ride with the necessary items to make their own repairs (consider a portable pump and/or CO2 inflator, spare tube and/or patch kit, tire lever, etc.)

  • All cyclists must obey the rules of the road. Although all routes will be thoroughly marked, all roads will remain open to vehicles and pedestrians.

  • Stay hydrated. June can be hot in Kansas! Bring a water bottle (or two) and refill along the ride. Water and Gatorade will be provided at Start/Finish and at all rest stops.

We've perfectly placed rest stops along each route to allow you to rest and refuel.

Members of local cycling teams will be riding along on all routes. They're Ride 2 Boulevardia route experts and will be able to assist with keeping you on course, providing light mechanical support and, most importantly - bringing their enthusiasm and encouragement!

Support Vehicles
If you experience any issues and are unable to continue on the course, a support vehicle (provided by our friends at Turner Construction) will be available to transport you back to Start/Finish.
